Activities

An activity is the universal workspace for any AI work — a quick chat, a multi-step background job, a scheduled report, or a complex workflow that branches into smaller steps.

Two Modes

Interactive — You chat, Splixia responds in real time with streaming. Tool calls happen immediately. You're in the loop for every step.
Autonomous — You set a goal. Splixia works on its own in the background, using tools, calling child steps, and coming back when done. You can come back to approve anything risky.

Execution Modes for Autonomous Work

Single — One task, one run. Splixia solves it in one go. Example: "Summarize this document."
Sequential — Multi-step work where each step builds on the last. Example: "Research competitors → extract pricing → write comparison table."
Parallel — Multiple independent tasks run at the same time. Example: "Plan a meeting: draft agenda, send invites, and book the room — all at once."
Dynamic — Splixia decides how to break down the task and when to branch.

Scheduling

Any autonomous activity can be scheduled. Set a single run time, or a recurring schedule (daily, weekly, or any cron expression).

Example: "Every Monday at 9 AM, pull my calendar and draft a weekly focus plan." Splixia runs it while you sleep and it's waiting when you open your laptop.

Templates

Save any activity as a reusable blueprint with variables. Run it again with different inputs. Perfect for workflows you repeat often — research briefs, meeting prep, client updates.

Confirmation for High-Risk Tools

When Splixia is running autonomously and tries to use a tool marked "confirm" (like sending an email or deleting data), it pauses and waits for your approval. You stay in control of what matters.
